We welcome you
to the Harvest Moon SoundBath
Presented by
Align Energy CST and
Fly Creek Aerial Yoga
The Harvest Moon traditionally symbolizes spiritual abundance, renewal, gratitude, and balance, representing the "harvest" of one's efforts and the importance of reflection and letting go of what no longer serves our highest purpose.
It signals a transitional period from the energetic highs of summer to the quietude of autumn, encouraging a turning inward and preparation for the months ahead.
Spiritually, it is a powerful time for ritual, manifestation, and setting intentions, aligning with the cyclical nature of life.

Abundance and Renewal:
-
Just as farmers reap their crops, the Harvest Moon is a time to reflect on the fruits of your labor, both tangible and spiritual.
Balance:
-
The increasing equality of daylight and darkness around the Full Harvest Moon symbolizes balance, reflecting a transition from the energetic pace of spring and summer to the increased quiet of autumn.

Transition and Letting Go:
-
It signifies a shift from the outward energy of warmer months to a more inward-focused, contemplative state, making it an ideal time to release old thought patterns, behaviors, and situations that no longer serve you.
Gratitude and Reflection:
-
The moon invites you to take stock of your accomplishments and blessings, fostering a sense of gratitude for the journey.

Ritual and Manifestation:
-
The energy of the Harvest Moon is considered powerful for performing rituals, charging crystals, organizing your space, and manifesting your desires.
Cleansing and Releasing:
-
Engage in ceremonies or simple practices to cleanse your home and spiritual energy, making space for new growth.
Meditation and Visualization:
-
Use the moon's energy to focus your intentions, connect with your inner self, and visualize positive outcomes.

SoundBath

Before, During;
After
Sound bath meditation may bring many benefits for both physical and mental health.
Whether you’re seeking relief from physical pain, emotional distress, or looking for peace, sound baths may engage the body's healing capabilities and nurture your wellbeing.

1. Stress reduction and anxiety relief:
The resonant frequencies produced by the instruments are thought to interact directly with our body's energy centers, which might help dissipate the buildup of stress and anxiety by shifting the nervous system from the fight-or-flight response to a state of rest.

2. Improved sleep quality:
Sound bath meditation may help with insomnia and sleep disturbances, as the soothing sound waves can promote deep relaxation, making it easier for the body to transition into sleep.

3. Enhanced mental clarity and focus:
A sound bath may help clear away the clutter of incessant thoughts and worries, helping concentration and focus.

4. Deepened meditation and spiritual insight:
The vibrations of sound baths are thought to help you connect with your subconscious mind, allowing inner exploration and self-discovery. Sometimes people experience profound insights or epiphanies during a sound bath.

5. Physical healing and pain relief:
Sound bath meditation is thought to stimulate circulation, enhance immune response, and may promote the healing of tissues and cells. People with chronic pain conditions, such as arthritis or fibromyalgia, often note a reduction in symptoms.

6. Emotional release and healing:
Sound baths can create a safe space for emotional exploration and release.
Because they’re thought to release emotions, powerful sound waves may help people heal past traumas or deal with grief.
What to expect during sound bath meditation
For many, the effects of a sound bath—be it emotional clarity, physical relaxation, or spiritual insight—can linger for days, offering a respite from the stresses of daily life and a reminder of the profound impact of sound on our wellbeing.
Before the sound bath begins
You'll be greeted by a serene, welcoming environment that promotes relaxation. Your silk awaits you. That's your own private space, where you are invited to disconnect from the chatter and the to do list; and to reconnect with your divine, authentic self.
During the sound bath
The session will begin with softer sounds, gently guiding you into a more introspective state. Your sound guide, Jacqueline, will layer and modulate sounds, including deep, resonant gong vibrations that may seem to fill the space completely, or crystal-clear tones of singing bowls. Chimes will add a lighter touch to the soundscape.
Individual experiences and reactions
A sound bath can be a deeply personal experience. Some people enter a meditative state easily, while others might focus on the physical sensations of the sound waves moving through their bodies. Participants sometimes report feeling waves of joy, sadness, or peace.
Physical reactions may also occur, such as tingling sensations or a feeling of lightness.
As the session draws to a close, the intensity and volume of the sounds will gradually reduce, gently guiding you back to your usual state of awareness. There's often a period of silence before you’re invited to slowly awaken your body, stretch, and sit up.
After the sound bath
After the sound bath, there may be a moment of reflection or gentle sharing. It's a time to rehydrate—as sound therapy is thought to release toxins from the body—and to ground yourself before stepping back into the outside world.

You will be invited to move at any time; you may wish to invert, or exit your silk and lay on the floor, supported by bolsters. We ask that all participants move slowly and quietly, to respect the serenity of all participants.

We can't wait to welcome you into this marvelous experience, by the light of the full harvest moon.

With love,
